Doctor's Perplexed, Family Ecstatic!

Diagnosed with a deadly infection that kills 1 out of 4 healthy patients, Shaila Visser, the Canadian director of a major Christian ministry, walked out of the hospital a full two weeks ahead of the 'minimum' 8-week treatment stay.

The doctor's words: "There is no sign of [the fungus] anywhere. I don't know what to say."

The patient's words: "I know!! I have an awesome God who heals!"

In Her Own Words

I would like to share my experience that attests to the fact that God can deliver you from anything. After the sudden death of my husband in a car wreck, I had a total nervous breakdown.

I had been a teacher for over 15 years, had an incredible family support system and believed in Jesus as my Lord and Savior. However, when you let your guard down for whatever reason Satan will take complete advantage of the situation and damage every aspect of your life. I was angry with God for "taking" my husband. I didn't care nor believe that “everything happens for a reason” and that “God has everything in control”. I simply didn't care anymore about anything.

Shortly I could not function well enough to teach. My life seemed meaningless.... Drugs - crack cocaine - to be exact...controlled my life for nearly 8 years. I did things that I never in my life thought I would do to obtain it, and actually became an agent of Satan in selling crack to others to support my own habit. That act and various other criminal activity landed me in prison for 4 months. My family had tried to help me in every way, but only God and I could free myself from Satan's hold on me. It is a one-on-one relationship with God and no one or nothing but His salvation and grace can free you.

The good, good news is that in one split second God can take any sort of enslavement away. I was baptized on July 18, 2010 in a lake outside of Burlington by Pastor Darrell. I asked God to take away my addiction and the sinful life I had led for so very long. All you have to do is ask with a pure heart and God will do it. I am living proof.
